30 Days of Thanksgiving - Day 23

I have gotten behind in posting my layouts this week as I have been under the weather much of the week.  So please bare with me as I post "belated" layouts.

Day 23 – Today, the day after Thanksgiving, I am grateful for my three very special women who were the most amazing of role models to me as a child, a young girl, and even now as a woman: my Great Aunts Margie, Cleo, and Mama Dot .  I am thankful for them just being them,  for loving me unconditionally and for making me feel like I was the most special girl in their world. I have precious memories of Maude letting me have the first biscuit, strolling the gardens with Mama Dot for that perfect tomato, or waiting at the window for Margie to arrive on Christmas morning.  Through their love and generosity they illustrated  to me the type of woman I have aspired to become and were the namesake of my daughter Abigail Kniceley.  And although most of my aunts are now with our Heavenly Father, and I miss them dearly, I will never forget them and will continue to celebrate their legacy with my children.

30 Days of Thanksgiving - day 13

Day 13 – I am thankful for my precious little niece Addison: such a delightful little girl who fills the room with sunshine the moment she enters.  She brings me an abundance of joy and happiness and I cherish each moment we share.  I am forever blessed to be her “Auntie”.

I found that I loved the top layout of my favorite niece so much (ok, well, she is my only niece but that is not the point!) that I decided to "tweak" the layout and create a second one to give Addison for her scrapbook.  Love that Studio J enables me to do so!  When creating this layout, I chose my favorite three photos and used them in color and then all of the supporting photos who clashed the paper or featured pictures etc. I changed to sepia tones.  Love, love, love it!  This is actually one of my favorite layouts that I have created in a very long time.

Sweet comforts...

I think I need to create a label titled "total cuteness"..and if so, this layout would have to be included no doubt! This was a layout created for a Home Workshop and I adore (no pun intended) how it turned out! The layout was designed using More to Adore with the thoughts that those who didn't necessarily have little girls to scrapbook could use the layout for upcoming Mother's Day photographs. For my personal layout, I used it to capture Abby's security items that were so very precious to her as an infant.
Supplies used: More to Adore Level 2 Paper Pack, Chocolate brads & Bigger Brads, vellum, Chocolate exclusive Ink and the Chocolate (Small) Alphabet stamp set. Layout design is Introduction from Imagine.
My Ultimate Scrapbooking Challenge: 150 layouts. 22 1/2 layouts completed. 127 1/2 to go.

There are four 3x3" cards perfect for leaving a little note for someone or to send with flowers, gifts etc. and there are four regular size 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" cards for everyday celebrations and use.
