Abby's first bus ride!

My little girl, Abigail, went to her preschool orientation on Thursday. She did great...Mommy, not so much. I know the program will be great for her and challenge her to new heights, but the Mommy in me is not quite ready for this next adventure in her life. As part of her orientation, the to-be-preschoolers had the opportunity to test ride the school bus...something that Abby has been looking forward to since the first day Nicholas climbed on the bus. I captured the memories of her first bus ride with the layout from the You and Me kit. I have been waiting for the perfect pictures for this layout...and these were definitely those pictures!

Featured colors: Chocolate, Olive, Garden Green, and Creme Brulee'. If you would like to create this adorable layout, plus an additional layout, contact me and I will share with you how you can get your very own You and Me Kit--complete with color step by step instructions!

I am three!

I am three!! My goodness how time disappears! These pictures were from my son's third birthday and in two weeks, he will be five. I love the picture of Gabriel with his Uncle Mike! The monkey cake was the perfect birthday cake for both of them...because Michael was indeed a "monkey"--into absolutely everything and I find that Gabey Luke is following in his footsteps! I have not scrapbooked these pictures until now as I haven't found a green that I was happy with to coordinate with, but the You and Me kit worked perfectly. The pictures are a little lighter of a green, but by separating the pictures from the patterned paper, they work. Love this layout? I will be offering this layout as a home workshop in the month of July. Want to book your home workshop? E-mail me today at inallsassiness@juno.com for details.

Layout Design: Vanishing Act from Magic. Materials used: You & Me Kit from National Scrapbooking Month, All Out Adventure Rub-ons (chocolate), Eclectic Irresistibles Dimensional Elements, Colonial White & Chocolate Cardstock, Chocolate & Olive Exclusive Ink.

Graduation Cards made from the heart!

This year, I have several special graduation cards to send. These cards NEEDED to be handmade and heartfelt, as the two young gentleman and very close to my heart (no pun intended): I babysat both of them in college...yes, I am feeling VERY old! It is hard to believe that they are now adults and getting ready to head to college themselves. Where does the time go?? Congrats to both Kevin & Gibby...I know you will move mountains and I love you dearly!

The card design is Presented to You from Originals. Supplies used: You and Me National Scrapbooking Kit & stamp set, Mocha Opaques, Chocolate & Garden Green cardstock and Exclusive Inks.

Card design is Vertical Sash (with a tweak of Masculiness) from Originals. The supply list is the same as above.

Have I mentioned before how much I love, love, love the You and Me kit that CTMH created to celebrate National Scrapbooking Month? Through the month of June, you can still purchase this kit, and the proceeds will go to help those whose lives were affected by the storms in the Midwest and south last month. The kit is so versatile: having both a masculine palette and a feminine. I will be using this kit in my Card Club for both June and July and if you take both classes (or buy both sets) you receive the stamp set free. Here is the first card in the June class:

Layout design is Vertical Three from Originals.
