Back from the archives...

Cherry-O maties!  Isn't this paper a fond memory of the past?  Yes, it is Cherry-O! And that little baby is Gabriel--my soon to be eight year old!  This was one of my favorite paper packs from a few years ago, and this was one of my favorite classes that I taught.  I adored (and still do) how that plaid paper worked so well with the sepia pictures and though hard to see in these pictures, the plaid has delicate pinstripes of pink, green and blues which are just enough pop of color to balance our the layout!  The flourish and the hearts are dimensional elements that are inked in Crystal Blue as well as the accent hearts are inked in Sweet Leaf.  The sub-titles are all created with Chocolate rub-ons to create a fun, and flourishing, feel.  The title was stamped however, if could also be cut out on the Cricut.

I have a few of these kits available.  The kits are $7.00 each and include:
2 sheets of Chocolate Cardstock, 3 sheets of patterned paper, 1 set of Dimensional Elements and 1 sheet of Chocolate Rub-ons.  Once the project is completed there will be many rub-ons and Dimensional Elements left for additional projects.  The title can be pre-stamped upon request at the time of purchase. The inks used in the layout are: Sweet Leaf and Crystal Blue.  If you would like to purchase the coordinating ink pad with your kit, you may add one ink pad for an additional $5 (making the total $12.00) or both for an additional $9 (making the total $16.00)

If applicable, shipping is $8.00 however can be combined with other In All Sassiness Design Kits.

Oh, so sweet Cherry o...must you go?

The time will soon be here for (December 2010 or while supplies last) when the Cherry-O collection will retire. I have loved creating with this collection, and my creations just couldn't be complete, unless I created with the adorable Level 1 kit as well! So, that is just what I did. These two layouts were created with just what was included in the Level 1 kit...no stamping was required! The only "enhancements" that I added were six Tulip Bigger Brads, Liquid Glass, and Chocolate Love Letters Rub-ons. That was it! With the kit, I created both adorable layouts and had extras to spare! Faster. Simpler. Easier.

Left Design is: Main Frame - Tied Up from Reflections.

Utilizing the best of the June Jackpot!

For a change of pace, I thought I would try to use some of the must-have products that have been available as a part of the June Jackpot sale and have been in many of your Goody Boxes! Hopefully this layout will inspire you to pull out some of your goodies and combine them in non-traditional ways!

Right Side:
If you notice, the All Out Adventure rub-ons are used for the date in the bottom corner, on the Dimensional Element Flourish, in the place of brads surrounding the pictures and for Picture captions & the subtitles...there are so many uses! And, they are quite addictive...once you start, you can't stop!! lol! The Layout design is Proof Preview from Imagine. Just Dance...

My little girl has been wanting this little swimsuit at Target since it first debuted back in February or so, BUT they haven't had her size. Finally a few weeks ago, we walked past the display and her size was finally in! Abby hasn't wanted to take it off! She loves to wear it and "twirl". On this particular day, she was twirling in my parents back yard and I had to laugh because with the mountains and hills in the background, she looked like she should be singing the "Hills are alive with the sound of music!".

I posted a few of the pictures last weekend, so I thought I would now post the final layout. The paper collection is actually a combination of the Cherry O Level 2 and the Cherry O Creative Basics Collection. Other materials used were: Tulip Mini-Medleys Accents, Tulip Exclusive Ink, Fresh Shapes Dimensional Elements and the Dimensional Elements Simple Simple Alphabet. The Layout design is: (Left) Sidebar - Photo Accent and (Right) Triple Play - Three of a Kind from Reflections. My Ultimate Scrapbooking Challenge: 29 layouts completed. 121 to go!

Cherry-O!

This is such a fun collection! I can't get enough of it! I made these cards for a group of my scrappers and just couldn't wait to share them! The stamp set used is the exclusive set from the Cherry-O Workshop To Go--I can't remember when I have had so much fun with a stamp set, or gotten as much use out of one before! Other supplies used are Tulip brads and the Cherry-O Level 2 Paper pack. The card design is Keep It Level from Wishes. For my Ultimate Scrapbooking Challenge, that makes 43 completed. Only 165 to go! To order your own Kit with exclusive stamp set, click here or e-mail! Finished card size: 5 3/4" x 5 3/4".

Gumbo Princess

Ever create a layout that just speaks volumes to you & tells your story so well with your pictures? This layout is "that layout" for me! My children have fallen in love with the movie Princess and the Frog and every time I turn around they are in Abby's room cooking gumbo on her little stove! In Abby's latest pretend play, she "has" to wear her princess dress when she makes her gumbo (it is sort of like a flapper dress...the style Tianna wears in her movie). To create the layout, I used the **NEW** Cherry-O workshop to go guide and a great deal of tweaking. Loving it!!

Supplies used: Cherry-O Level 2 Paper Pack, Tulip Mini-Medley Accents, Blush, Chocolate & Tulip cardstock, Exclusive WTG Guide & stamp set (a MUST have let me tell you!!), Chocolate, Tulip & Sweet Leaf Exclusive Ink pads.
The journaling reads: "Once upon a time, there was a little princess named Abby. She loved to make GUMMMM-BO! She would stir, and mix,and take just a little taste; then she would stir a little more...kick up her heel and say...mmm "just good"! Her gumbo was the best on this side of the bayou! Her secret ingredients? Cookies, berries, fruities, & cheese! And what inspired Abby's gumbo-making? Why, Disney's Princess & the Frog of course!"
