"Live as though life was created for you" Layout

A little touch of rose gold elegance, a quote of truth from one of my favorite poets, beautiful shades of pinks and blues and wooden shapes to add balance to one of my favorite layouts that I have created in a long time.  This layout was created with the You Are Enough Cardstock Suite (now retired) which featured the colors of Ballerina, Mulberry (a suite exclusive color) and Blue Belle.  

The daisies are stamped with the Daisies stamp set - a set that is exclusive to CTMH Makers (contact me if you would like to order this stamp set) - and Black Exclusive Ink.  The insides of the daisies are finished with a swirl of Rose Gold Liquid Pearls.

Embellishing the layout are Rose Gold Loose Sequins (now retired) with a dot of the Liquid Pearls in the centers for that extra special touch.

The title is a combination of the wood letters and Cricut cut letters.  With some searching I was able to find the same font in the Cricut that was used in our letters which makes it easy to toggle back and forth between the two.  Love having this option.

The brackets are Close To My Heart's wooden shapes and were embossed with a long-ago retired embossing powder that happened to match perfectly!

Created around Maya Angelou's words, this layout is sure to empower your photos and story. The individual frames/mats are cut with our Slimline stitched rectangle Thin Cuts out of a Rose Gold Embossed cardstock. The daisies are pre-stamped. The title is precut from cardstock and included however in the sample the key words are in actuality embossed wood letters as are the brackets. For those who would like to add on the wood letters alphabet, you can add these on to your kit - I will emboss the letters for the title and then send you the balance of the alphabet in your kit. The daisy stamp set is exclusive to Makers, and can be added to your kit as well.

Jawsome Birthday Cards

Today I wanted to share a fun new card set that I created!  It is one of my favorites that I have done in quite awhile - in part because they are just so fun and whimsical and in part because they were such a joy to create!  

It seems like every time I turn on the tv something it is shark week or someone is talking about sharks!  My boys are fascinated with them!  So of course, CTMH is on trend when they created the Jawsome Birthday stamp and Thin Cut Set.  So much fun!  I just had to create a card set using this chomping cards.  And a nod to all of the little shark lovers out there with the Baby Shark song - I just couldn't resist adding some of the "do" and "doos" to one of my cards!

Another fun element to point out is that the Stitched Rectangle Frame Thin Cut was used in three of the cards!  I cut the full Thin Cut out and then used various pieces on the different cards.

When designing these cards I wanted a pattern paper that looked "watery" and I remembered the You Are Enough paper pack that we had for National Scrapbooking Month had this marbleized paper.  How perfect is that?  The blending of the colors with the splatter of white worked so well for my ocean waters.

Believe Interactive Cards

Believe!  These cards were created as a Create & Take for my Red, White and Blue presentation for the virtual Stamp & Scrapbook expo this past weekend.  I love how they turned out!

The unique care fold was inspired by a birthday card that Katy Carlson made and sent to me earlier this month.  I was both touched for the handmade card that she sent me, and equally as fascinated with the card fold that created an interactive element with the card design.  The best part is that the fold is easy to create and fun to pull together color, and paper, combinations, to work with the design.

These particular cards are created with the You Are Enough collection that was here for National Scrapbooking Month and pun intended...I simply cannot get enough of the papers!

Cards that are all a flutter!

These two cards were created with the You Are Enough Paper collection that is available only during the month of May for National Scrapbooking Month.  The speckled paper on the dragonfly card I believe is my favorite pattern!  I love how the colors mix and the variance of colors makes the paper quite versatile to work with other papers and collections.

Also note that Blue Belle, our color of the year, is highlighted.  The butterflies and dragonflies are layered and cut from our CTMH Cricut collections and both cards are embellished with the beautiful Blue Belle Glitter Gems.

You are enough Glitter Floral card

This week, I want to share some cards that I have created with the You Are Enough  special collection that is available for National Scrapbooking Month.

This has to be my favorite Cricut flower on any of our CTMH collections.  I love how simple it is, and especially and well it both cuts, and looks, when cut out of the Glitter Paper.  

I paired the Cricut cut flowers with one of our special edition stamp sets available during the month of May for National Scrapbooking Month.  This stamp set, called "You Are Enough" and is available with or without Thin Cuts, and by itself, or at a discount as a part of a bundle.  The images are ones that I will most certainly use over and over, but what really spoke to me were the words.  The "you are" and then you can select a word, or words to follow.  I also adore that the stamp includes the word "I".
