Chantilly Expo...it will be "some kind of wonderful!"

I love Scrapbook Expos!  And love them even more when they are so close to home!  This weekend the Scrapbook Expo is coming to Chantilly, VA and my dear friend Barb Carrico and I will be there to share all of the Close To My Heart goodness!  I am so excited!  You are going to love what we have in store for you!  Our teams have worked hard to help us create a dynamic booth and of course, you know that there will be fabulous Create and Takes, inspiring artwork and a wealth of CTMH happiness!  

To celebrate this occasion, I created this Create and Take with our recently retired Some Kind of Wonderful paper.  This paper is truly "wonderful" to work with and yes, the pun was intended.  The layout features our Flower Market Cricut cartridge, interactive flip flaps, glittery accents and our signature Clear Shimmer pens.  The create and take will be offered at an exclusive expo price just this weekend.

Upcoming event! Some Kind of Wonderful Workshop Your Way!

How fun is this kit?  Love the bright, vivid and playful palette!

Join me for a fun filled scrapbooking workshop using the Some Kind of Wonderful collection.  In this workshop, we will create 3 two-page layouts with left over materials to make cards, or an additional project. You can create the layouts as designed or tweak with your extra materials to showcase your individual style! A colored guide is included.  The class will begin at 9:30 am and will continue until 12:30PM or when you have completed your projects.  A light lunch is provided for participants.  Supply cost is:  $30.00.  Additional ala carte' offerings will be available for those who want to "up-style" their layouts.  To register, e-mail Tonya at: inallsassiness@gmail.com.

Some Kind of Wonderful Cards

Back in January, I attended a Team Builders event with Close to My Heart in Salt Lake City, Utah.  The Home Office designed these 8 fabulous cards for us to create, and then to use with our teams.  I love how they paired the Some Kind of Wonderful papers and compliments with the stamps to create the very cute cards.  I wanted to share these cards (the cards in on the left in each picture) with my customers who I knew would love the cards, but the sentiments didn't quite fit their needs.  I created the same cards, a few slightly altered, and added new sentiments to come up with a set of cards I could share with my customers.  I am delighted with how they turned out!  For those who would like to create these cards for themselves, I have listed all of the supplies at the bottom of this post or you are welcome to pick them up from my card buffet at my next card class or crop!
