Black and bling cards...

...with that combination, how could you possibly go wrong?

I love the trendy edge that the Laughing Lola paper adds to any project that is created with it!  So, of course, these cards from July's Card Club were no different. Love, love, love them!

If you are one of my blog followers (and if you are not, why aren't you?) you might recognize the layout and design of the cards as previously seen before.  That is because, why yes, they are!  These are the card designs that were used in the our National Paper Crafting Month promotional Cloud Nine Kits.  I simply took the kit guide and recreated the cards with the Laughing Lola paper and made just a few tweaks.  The cards took an entire new look.

The Gold Sequins were left over from a Workshop On the Go which is now retired--however are available in our new Idea Book that premiers on August 1st so make sure to watch for them!  They are the right amount of "bling" for your cards without adding weight at the post office!

You can purchase all of these supplies on my website at: www.ctmh.com/tonyasheridan and create the cards on your own, or you can order the kit from me on my In All Sassiness Designs Kit page.  The pre-stamped kit includes all of the pre-cut and pre-stamped pieces, detailed instructions, a colored guide and the needed embellishments to create 8 cards - 2 each of 4 designs (1 being the Lagoon based and one being the Gypsy based).  The kits are $12 each.  If you would like to include the stamp, add $10.  If shipping is needed, add an additional $3 however shipping may be combined with other In All Sassiness Designs kits.

Love, Love, Love It!

The layout is the second layout that I taught at the New Jersey Scrapbook Expo using the Laughing Lola Paper collection and the fantastic Artbooking cartridge!  I loved the layers on this layout and the little details...the banners, the buttons and of course the stamping details!  I used my pictures from Abby's first day of school which were absolutely perfect.  I even included a sampling of her writing on her very first day of First day of school in the flip flap.

This layout is one of two that will be taught in October's Sassfully Chirping Cricut Class on Friday, October 18th at 6:30PM.  The place is TBD.  Class kits are also available for this Sassy Girl Layout.  Visit my In All Sassiness Designs Kit page for more details.

Sassy Girl!

Yes, like mother, like daughter!  My daughter Abby is definitely full of sass!  I couldn't wait to use the Perfect Paisley's stamp set with the "sass" sentiment on it and partner it with the Cricut Cut title "Sassy Girl" from our Close To My Heart's new Artbooking Cartridge.  I actually created this layout to teach at the 2013 New Jersey Scrapbook Expo without the pictures.  And then upon chatting with my dear friend Linda (see Linda, I told you I would give you credit! :) I realized that Abby's ballet outfit would work beautifully with the papers, title, and expressions...and thus a complete layout was created.  And, I have to admit...I  L-O-V-E how it turned out!  I tried to take several detail shots as the details definitely make the layout!

Laughing Lola Cardmaking Workshop On The Go

Monday will be our first regular card club session of the new Fall/Winter 2013 Idea Book.  My card club is an open club where there are no purchasing commitments and card makers can come to club each month when it suits their schedules.  The card class is $10 which includes the card bases and envelopes, the needed pre-cut pieces and embellishments to create the cards in class.  Participants may purchase coordinating ink pads, and sometimes tools or embellishments that were used in class, at a discounted rate.  My club meets at the Hill's in Broadway (9872 Harpine Highway--which is directly on route 42) from 6:15-9:00PM on the 3rd Monday of the month.  Christmas Card Club meets the 1st Tuesday of each month.

This month's card club will feature the Laughing Lola Card Making Workshop on the Go.  We will create two each of the three cards designed by CTMH (with a few alterations) and 2 each of a bonus card that I have designed.

Because this is a company designed kit, participants will have three options for class.
1.  The option of paying the $10 for the regular class.
2.  The option of paying $22 for the class and the featured stamp set.
3. The option to purchase the complete Workshop on the Go Kit for $28.00 (after shipping and tax) .  For this option, I will prep the full kit for you for you.  The kit includes 5 of each of the three company designs.  You will still create 2 of each and my 2 bonus cards but will have the supplies prepped for you to go home and create the remaining 9 cards with.  Note:  Those wanting a full kit, will need to let me know prior to class so that I can prepare the kits for them.

Click here to see the workshop flyer.
Supplies used: If you have the following supplies, please bring them with you to class.  Black, Outdoor Denim, Crystal Blue and Pear Exclusive Ink Pads; Fine tip scissors; 30d foam tape, Mini Glue Dots and adhesive of choice, and a Sanding Kit.  We will using the Artiste' Cricut Cartridge.
