Pear and a Partridge Workshop On The Go

Unlike my last few Workshop On The Go's that I have posted, I stayed pretty close to the design of the Pear and Partridge design and kit.  I did do a few minor tweaks but for the most part, my photographs worked great with what was given.  One of the things that drew me to this layout was that it features standard 4" x 6" photographs (with the one exception in the top left corner, but even that one was a trimmed down version of a 4" x 6" photograph.  AND, the layout features both horizontal and vertical photographs...which I take both.  I often am challenged by a layout design that uses only one or only the other so this was perfect for my picture taking eye!

Close To My Heart's Pear and Partridge Workshop On The Go:

If you are in love with this layout, or the kit, Close To My Heart is officially sold out; however I do have a few left.  You are welcome to come and join us in class this week, or e-mail me at: inallsassiness@gmail.com and you can buy just the kit from me at the price of $34.00.   (shipping and charges of $9.00 if applicable).

Sassy 12 Days of a Scrapbooking Christmas - Day 10

Christmas is almost here!  Can you believe it? I still have a million and one things to finish up but having been sick since Tuesday, I am pretty certain that what gets done gets done and what doesn't, well...guess I have head start on next year.  One thing is for certain, I have used more Pear & Partridge Paper (Close to My Heart's 2012 Christmas paper) this year than I have any previous year's paper collection.  I love it! And truthfully, I am looking forward to scrapbooking my many Christmas memories with this paper collection after Christmas.  Do remember, that in January right when many of us will be reminiscing and scrapbooking our Christmas pictures, that this paper pack as well as:  Flirty, La Belle Vie, Moonlight, Florentine, Pemberley, Stella and Victory will all be retiring if you are in love with any of these paper packs, or need to stock up to finish on-going projects, you will want to do so quickly.  That being said, as the retired list has officially been released, all of the "to be retiring" items are on a while supplies last status.

So, today's verse for you is this:
On the 10th Day of Christmas, my consultant offered me:
Level 2 Paper Packs...Buy 3 Get 1 Free!

To take advantage of this special, e-mail me directly at:  inallsassiness@gmail.com or use the PayPal link provided.  Your total cost for 4 packs of paper including the shipping and tax would be $34.00.

Paper Packs Buy 3 get 1 free
If you would like to spend an additional $5.15 in product, you would qualify for the Whooo's Your Valentine Promotion for just $10.00 ($13.83 after shipping and tax).  If you would like to spend an additional $15.15 ($10 of that can be the Whooo's Your Valentine Kit), you can also purchase the December Stamp of the Month for just $5 more ($6.74 after shipping and tax).

For today's artwork, I wanted to share the Christmas card that Nicholas made for his friends at school.  He chose the Pear and Partridge paper and the Stamp of the Month from a few years ago. As he used a little reindeer on his cards, he decided to make reindeer cookies for his treats for school.  They also came out really cute.  I will try to post a picture of them soon.

Sassy 12 Days of a Scrapbooking Christmas - Day 9

On the 9th Day of Christmas, my consultant offered me:  all scrapbooking adhesive...buy 2 get 1 free!

This includes:  Liquid Glass, 3-d Foam (an absolute must), Tombow, and Glue Dots.  Note:  the least expensive item is the free item.  However if you purchase 2 sets of the same items (for i.e. three items at 7.95 and three items at 4.95), you will receive one from each price point free.

To take advantage of this offer, e-mail me your selections to:  inallsassiness@gmail.com.

For this mornings artwork, I thought I would share my daughter Abby's Christmas Card that she made for her friends and teachers at school.  I let each of my children choose the stamp set that they wanted to use and the paper they wanted it to go with--then we preceded to create the cards together.  The finished card size was 2 1/4" x 3 1/2".  The paper collection is Pear and a Partridge (still loving this paper pack!).  The stamp is the retired Merry Pursuits.  The sparkle brads are from the Pear and Partridge Card Workshop On The Go and she used her own shade of pink to color her elves.  The little elf is popped up on foam tape.

30 Days of Thanksgiving - Day 5

Day 5 – I am thankful for my brothers: from the mischievous little boys they once were to the amazing (and sometimes still mischievous) men that they have become.  They are my confidants, my shoulders to lean on, the most loving and caring uncles to my children and they continue to bless my life each and every day.

Pear and a Partridge Cousins Layout

If I wasn't totally biased, I would say that I am not sure what is cuter the adorable munchkins or
Close To My Heart's new Christmas paper Pear and A Partridge but since the munchkins are mine, and my niece, I would have to say they take the prize.  The paper is a close second though.  lol.

I have started a Christmas tradition with my children where I give them a new pair of Christmas jammies each year for Christmas Eve.  When my niece was born, I couldn't help but include her in the tradition.  And they were all so cute together.  Our "photo shoot" consisted of about 75-100 shots because when they are this little, you just keep shooting.  I finished with one adorable one, and lots of almost perfect ones...but when creating my layout, I wanted to add some of these more candid shots as well so I clustered them together on the right side.  To me it gives a better view of the moment and the children's personalities and their relationships together.
