Blossom meets Thistle Fundamentals!

Today I wanted to share my new Thistle card set!  Occasionally, I see a stamp, or dream up a combination with one of my scrappers or team members in mind, and such was the case with these cards.   One of my scrappers, Valerie, who has scrapped with me for years, has just started to create cards as well and her favorite CTMH color is Thistle.  While going through some retired products, I found these Paper Fundamentals in the Thistle color and that was all there was!  I had to blend the papers and the stamp set to create this set for her.

While difficult to see in the photo, the paper on the left card has a tone on tone embossed design on it making the cards all the more elegant.  I used both the Clear Shimmer Brush and the Diamond Clear Stickles on the cards to add what I would call additional elegance.

The cards were created with the Cherished Blossoms stamp and Thin Cut sets.  One of my favorites! The Thin Cuts are amazing, cut quite cleanly and are the perfect size for a layout or a card, but one can't just note those, the stamps are adorable as well.   This was a special stamp and thus only available for a limited time.  You can find it on my website by clicking here.

If this card set really sparks your inner card maker, it is now available in my In All Sassiness Designs Shop in a limited quantity.

SJLS #16 Fabulous - Blossom Layout

Sassy January Layout Series #16

Welcome to the 16th segment in a series of 31 that will be shared during the month of January.
Click here to find out about the Sassy January Layout Series.

This layout was created with Close To My Heart's Bring Back my pack - Blossom.  A refreshed new look for a beloved paper pack of years past!  The left page was actually based off a design that was shared on Jeanette Lynton's blog when this pack was first introduced.  I loved it so much that I re-invented it with the new papers, stickers and made it into a two page layout.

To see the layout in more detail, click on the photo and it will open in a new window.

I love how this 12" sticker sheet has both large titles/words for the scrapbookers and small words that also work for the card makers.  They are truly "fabulous".

Look at all of the circles!! How perfect are these all lined up??  They just pop!!

Sticker details!  These stickers are so full of color with adorable whimsical designs perfect for layering.

Here is how I chose to use my layout with my photos - of my adorable nieces and nephews!  (heart).

SJLS#14 So Happy Together Layout - Blossom

 Sassy January Layout Series #14

Welcome to the 14th segment in a series of 31 that will be shared during the month of January. Click here to find out more about the Sassy January Layout Series.

This layout was created with the Bring Back My Pack - Blossom paper collection.  This is available until the end of February, or while supplies last.  The Blossom paper collection was released originally maybe 8 years ago.  Of course, the colors that were used then are no longer current so the paper had a facelift and it is so much prettier, and, if I may, sassier, than the original paper.  In addition, a 12" sticker sheet was designed, and included, as an optional add on to the paper pack.  The stickers are what I chose to use as the focal point of the foundation to the design of the layout - of course once added, the photos will be the true focal point.

I used some buried, and forgotten, favorite treasures to embellish this layout.  The gems were from a Pink collection some years back - I used two of the three shades in the layout to create a variation.  These were used on the berries/buds and then also in clusters around the stickers to bring the focal point to the stickers.

The Smoothie Washi tape was adhered to strips of White Daisy cs and then cut with the trimmer to make the strips the measurement that I desired.  Two of the strips are completely covered with the Washi tape and the lower one leaves a little of the White Daisy showing below the tape.  I love using Washi Tape in this manner - it truly highlights the colors of the tape and opens up many more possibilities.

This is a detail shot of the sticker title.  The bulk of the title is popped up with Thin Foam Tape.  The floral stickers are popped up with Thin and regular Foam dots.  The smaller dots are popped underneath the berries alternating between the Thin and Regular to create more of a sense of depth.  After the stickers are adhered, the pink gems are added to the tops of the berries.

On the right page, the stickers pop out from underneath the photo mats which are also popped up on Thin Foam tape.

Accent details.

Supplies used:  () Blossom Paper pack with Stickers, (X5985) Smoothie cs, (retired) Smoothie Washi tape, (retired) Pink Enamel Gems, (1385) White Daisy cs, (Z2060) Thin Foam Tape, (Z3341) Thin Foam Dots, (Z3342) Regular Foam Dots.  The items that are currently available can be purchased at: www.tonyasheridan.ctmh.com.

Smile with Blossom

A blend of techniques, scallops, flowers and flair, this layout that is created with the Blossom paper collection will be certain to make you smile!  Using exclusive CTMH Cricut cuts: the scallop frames, brackets and hearts paired with the Thick Twine, Washi Tape and Coral Sequins add to the "sweetness" of the layout.

Supplies used:
White Daisy Cardstock, Blossom Paper Collection, Smoothie Striped Washi Tape, Coral Sequin Assortment, Scallop Border Punch, Glacier Thick Twine, Pear Exclusive Ink, Smoothie Exclusive Ink, Sunset Exclusive Ink, Glacier Exclusive Ink, Lagoon Exclusive Ink, C1612 Shower Flowers stamp set.

I will be teaching this layout in a Mini-Class on Monday, June 22nd during the Sassy Summer Crop Series at the Timberville Church of the Brethren. The class will be held at 2 PM.  Plan on 45 minutes to an hour to complete. Class cost is $12.00. You do not have to be attending the crop to stop in and take the class.  Because all of the pieces are pre-cut, this would also be a great class for tweens/teens in you need a creative outlet.

If unable to take the class, kits will also be available that are pre-cut and pre-stamped.   Shipping, if applicable is $8 and can be combined with other In All Sassiness Designs Class Kits.  To see additional kits, click here.

To register for the class, e-mail me at: inallsassiness@gmail.com.

Celebrate with Blossom!

This morning I wanted to share a layout that I created to teach at the Chantilly Scrapbook Expo.  The layout features the beautiful, and soon to be retiring, Blossom paper collection.  I have been so in love with this paper, and and truly sad to see it retire BUT I know that when one awesome thing retires, an equally awesome product/collection replaces it.  For now, I am just creating my heart out with Blossom while I can!

This layout was based on the Juggling Act layout design from Magic - with some tweaking of course! Each of the flowers are stamped on a White Daisy circle and then cut out - you could certainly leave the flowers with the circle background to better mirror the original design - I am just a detail kind of girl and wanted mine cut out.  The White Shimmer Trim adds just enough shimmer to the layout and adds that extra pizazz.  The title "celebrate" can be adhered straight, or also looks quite classy in an arch following the curve of the flowers.  Note that the sequins are from both the Coral and the Seaside Assortment - both sequin sets coordinate beautifully with the delicacy of this paper.

The final touches added a 6" x 6" flip flap to the left page and (2) 3" x 3" flip flaps to the right page.

Featured Stamp set - C1612 Shower Flowers

I will be teaching a mini-class on this layout on Friday, June 19th at 2PM at the Timberville Church of the Brethren.  The class will be during a crop, however you are welcome to stop in and just participate in the class.  The cost is $10.00 and includes all of the materials that you need to create this layout.  Allow 30 minutes to an hour to create the layout.  Because the pieces are all pre-cut, this would also be a great class for tweens/teens if you need a creative outlet!  Supplies needed:  paper trimmer, scissors, adhesive, 3-d foam tape, and mini glue dots.  If you are unable to take the class, kits will be available pre-stamped and pre-cut for $10.00.  Shipping, if applicable, is $8 and can be combined with other In All Sassiness Designs Class Kits.  To see additional kits, click here.  To register, simply e-mail me at: inallsassiness@gmail.com.
