Day 24 - Enjoy Life Every Day Layout

Today's layout features the Veranda Layout and the shades of Cocoa, Espresso, Garden Green, Juniper, Creme' Brulee and Colonial White.  The paper collection has an elegant feel which made me fall in love with it all over again.

To see a larger view of the layout, click on the layout and it will open in a new window.

Details of ribbon, pearls and embellishing stickers.

The unused My Stickease were used to create these three cards.  The pre-stamped pieces, as well as the card bases and envelopes are included in the kit.

Supplies used:  (Z3341) Thin 3-d Foam Dots, (Z2060) Thin 3-d Foam Tape, (Z3372) Adhesive runner, (X5951) Espresso cs, (X254) Value Cards and Envelopes, (retired) Cocoa cs, Juniper cs, Garden Green cs, Colonial White cs, Veranda Paper Suite and My Stickease, Juniper ribbon, Cocoa Exclusive Ink, Pearls.  The current products are available on my CTMH website.

Today's product special is on the Everyday Life Albums.  There is a size, or color, option for every purpose.  Of course, the Ballerina 8 1/2" x 11" is my favorite but I am a pink lovin' girl!  These albums have a soft elegant cover and are perfect for so many uses.  You can see all of the size and color choices by clicking here.  There is nothing additional for shipping or tax which makes your savings $5 off for each book and yes, this is repeatable.

Both of these specials are available until midnight on 1-2-20 in my In All Sassiness Designs Shop.  You can see them at: www.inallsassiness.com.

Flip Flapping with Veranda

This morning I thought I would share a class I taught on Monday evening at the Scrappers for A Cause Crop.  The class focused on using the assorted 12" flip flaps as well as combining the 4" x 6" and the 6" x 6" flips on a layout.  The supplies used were:  Level One Veranda Paper Packs (now retired), Veranda Level 2 My Stickease (now retired), flip flaps, paper flowers (now retired), and the Mocha Opaque Pearls.  If you missed out on this class and would like a kit with color pictures and full directions, simply send me an e-mail at: inallsassiness@gmail.com.  The kits are $15.00 and I do have two kits left from class.

As the previously sold Level 1 kits were designed to create two layouts, there were many supplies left over after completing the featured layout.  The layout below is what I created with the additional materials (note that this layout was not apart of the class).  When I created the first layout, I decided that I wanted to do a second layout of just Abby and her teacher, Mrs. Snyder as she was such an important part of Abby's first year of school.  In addition, how could I not dedicate an entire page to the picture on the left?  I love this picture...it warms my heart and illustrates Abby's journaling perfectly.  Here is our combined journaling:
"Abby’s beloved preschool teacher, Mrs. Snyder: her “at-school Mommy “as she adoringly called her, has been the most awesome blessing to our family.  As a Mom, I can’t imagine another person whom I would choose to better fit the title of Abby’s “at-school Mommy” than Mrs. Snyder.  Our family was honored to have her as Gabriel’s teacher before Abigail and we all adored her.   And with that role, Abby loved her even before she was granted enrollment into Mrs. Snyder’s preschool class!  Mrs. Snyder put my heart at ease that my little girl, my baby, was in her safe care and for that I am forever grateful.  She used her creative talents and sparkling personality to educate her class and give them every “extra” that could be discovered.  I felt the best way to describe Mrs. Snyder, would be Abby’s own thoughts, so I asked her what she liked most about her preschool teacher.  This is what she replied and mind you, her face lit up as she exclaimed her thoughts and then she made sure I had written down each thought!
“Mrs. Snyder is the bestest teacher I had.  I love her.  She is my bestest friend ever.  She loves me.  She loves telling stories to me.  She takes care of my boo-boos.  And when I am sad.  She helps my friends when they are hurt.  I know she misses me and I miss her so much.  THIS----------------MUCH!” ".

Buckeye boxes...almost too pretty to open. ALMOST.

My husband and I are Buckeye fans through and true! And we love to make Buckeyes--which for those of you who have not had the privilege...they are a chocolate and peanut butter confection unlike any other! This past weekend I participated in a Holiday Bazaar where I took my Buckeyes to sell. These are the little boxes that I created for the Buckeyes. The boxes are candy boxes from Wilton. I love, love, love them! Later this week, I will post the card sets I made to coordinate!

On a side note, I have had several requests, and have decided to take orders for my Buckeyes locally for the holidays. They will be priced at $6 for a box of 9 or 6 boxes for $30. You can choose Christmas/Thanksgiving adoration or regular. Each box will come with a gift tag/card to make them perfect for gift giving. To arrange an order, e-mail me at: inallsassiness@juno.com.

Special Moments

This layout was created in Studio J. The pictures worked great with the layout, but the journaling was my true focus. Studio J allowed me to create a large photo well and overlap the B&T designs. Love the flexibility! I am known for being long winded in my journaling which in most cases I guess is a flaw...but in this case, my words needed to convey the importance of the day to my husband and I and the option to expand my journaling helped me to relay my words.

The paper designs are Veranda featuring the colors of Creme Brule, Juniper, Garden Green and Cocoa. The layout design is Powerful Trio from Imagine. My Ultimate Scrapbooking Challenge: 150 layouts. 42 completed. 108 layouts to go.

April's Crop Make and Take!

I love this layout design! Regardless of how many times I use it, I find myself coming back to it again and again. The simplicity and the balance work so beautifully together. This is going to be our make and take for the April Crop! It will give many of you who aren't card makers the opportunity to work with the Creative Basics paper...which is very elegant this time! Lovin' it!

Materials used: Veranda Creative Basics, Juniper, Vanilla Cream & Garden Green Cardstock, Top Coats, Garden Green Ribbon, Colonial White Buttons & brads and vellum. Layout design: Imagine's Sweet Symphony. My Ultimate Scrapbooking Challenge: 150 layouts. 21 completed. 129 to go.

Elegant and Classy...

all with a touch of "flutter"! Butterfly flutters that is! I am absolutely loving the new Veranda Paper Collection...it features the warm, yet springy colors of Creme Brulee, Juniper, Cocoa and Vanilla Creme. Complimented by the Just Blooms Spring Blossoms (and can't forget those cute little butterflies!) and the Filigree Charms these cards are such a breath of fresh air.
These cards were designed using CTMH's Wishes card book (Season's Greetings design) and inspired by my colleague, and fellow consultant Christine A., for a workshop that I am teaching next week (Monday the 18th at 5PM) to some of my favorite teachers! It is actually a fundraiser for the New Market Shockers - a local baseball team! If you local to the Harrisonburg area, we would love to have you join us. The crop fee is just $2 and this optional workshop is just $12. For more details on the location or to sign up, e-mail me at: inallsassiness@juno.com.
