Halloween Treats anyone?

A cauldron full of treats?  Being a scrapbooker, I am more enticed by the adorable pillow boxes, but I can see where most would be intrigued with what is inside the pillow boxes!  Each is filled with Halloween candy (Milky Way, Snickers, Twix and Starburst)!  With the help of my hubby (who is quickly becoming a master of the cricut!) and my mom, we cut out, filled, and decorated these little treat boxes to fill the witch's cauldron!  It is perfect to sit on your porch for trick-or-treaters or to take into the office for Halloween treats for colleagues!  How can you get you hands on such cuteness?  There are three ways...you can purchase the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge and cut out your own boxes (takes about 60 to fill) and have treats that are the talk of the town, come to Scrap Purple and purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win this cauldron!  Not sure you want to take your chances?  You may have your own Cauldron for a $50 donation to Team Awesome --please allow 1 week for creation!  For more details, e-mail me at:  inallsassiness@juno.com.  The boxes are filled with Snickers, Milky Ways, Twix and Starburst. 

Wicked Open Workshop this Sunday!

Art Philosophy at it's spookiest!

Sassfully Chirping class debuts! and it is spooky! very cool! This is a class I am teaching at my fall crops. It is filled with Art Philosophy cut images, a touch of sanding/distressing and lots of spooks! Want a private session with you, me and the Cricut or you and a few minutes? How to tips: Inking the image.

This Cricut shape is incredibly intricate and because of the white core of our papers, in some spots, you can see a little of the white core. To enhance the layout, and cover the white spaces, take a sponge and lightly sponge Black ink over the patterned paper. I chose the sponge over a dauber as it gives a lighter inking and subtle is what I was going for.

How to tips: Applying the adhesive.

Flip your cut image to the back side. Place on scrap paper. Gently apply removable adhesive to the back side. Lift image off of scrap paper and adhesive should only be on the image itself.

How to tip: Piercing and Sewing

When using the new rule (which is awesome by the way!), use the piercer in alignment to the holes in the ruler and make a small hole. Reinforce the hole with the piecing tool after the ruler is out of the way.

Halloween Pillow Box

This was too cute of a box not to share! I created this as a make and take for my fall crops. It was super easy to create with CTMH's new Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge, the Mischief Paper Pack, Milestone pieces and a cute little button brad.

Yet one more kitty...

I just can't get enough of this cute little kitty! This is a card that I designed to feature the new Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge and the new Zip Tabs from the Paper packs. The zip tabs are such an awesome idea! On one side they have the details of the paper pack (name, item number, and colors included) and on the other side, there is a usable border or words. So many possibilities! Supplies used: Mischief Paper pack, Black Hemp, Licorice Opaques, Black Exclusive Ink Pad, Art Philosophy Cartridge, Sponge, August SOTM Wicked & Black Cardstock.

Cards that are just wicked!

Created with the new August Stamp of the Month "Wicked" that is! I am not one for scary Halloween fun, but this little witch and kitty have a little bit of a sassy to them making them lots of fun to create with. These are two of the cards I created for a swap that I was in earlier in the month. The colors of the new Mischief paper pack are unique and definitely create the mood! I love the inclusion of the Barn Red! Never would have thought of that as a Halloween color, but it works so well with the other combinations. They are fantastically wicked together!
