All about the little details

Did you notice the google eyes on the little pumpkin My Stickease? Or the Liquid Glass on the polka dots of the "Boo" title? It is the little details that make layouts so special! I had a great time creating this layout! I created a collage print at Wal-mart with the supporting pictures for my layout and then slid the collage print into a layout design that called for an 8x10 photograph. I am very excited for how it turned out and will keep this in mind for future layouts where I have many pictures (I am thinking Christmas layouts, birthday layouts etc).
Supplies Used: Holligans Level 2 Paper Pack, Liquid Glass, Foam Squares, Hooligans My Stickease & Google eyes. Featured colors: Sunset and Black. The Layout designs are: (left) Main Frame - Portrait and (right) Title Topper - Cover from Reflections.
My Ultimate Scrapbooking Challenge: 150 layouts. 63 layouts completed. 87 layouts to go.

Blinging up some Halloween fun!

This is my tweaked version of the Hooligans Workshop To Go Layout. I switched some of the patterns out, and used pumpkin stamps verses the little monsters which worked so much better with my pictures. The workshop guide taught how to add glitter to a strip of paper which is so much better than paying $2 a sheet at a local craft store! I was so fascinated with this technique, that I put together a step by step tutorial to help those who would also like to try it! For we all know, one can never have enough bling!

Watch out...Hooligans are making their debut!

Such a cute fun new paper collection! And generally speaking, the colors shout Halloween, even the name "Hooligans" shouts Halloween! But, what fun to use the papers for other events and memories! To me, they shout out .."To infinity and beyond" which is a very popular phrase in my household these days! This is a layout that I created from my son's 3rd birthday celebration! The layout Design is Swing Rhythm from Imagine. If you look closely, you will see that all of the black dots have Liquid Glass on them! A fun technique that takes patience but the results are WOW!!
