Have you experienced CTMH's new Floral Layered Background Thin Cuts? These were introduced at the beginning of September and are truly a must have if you are a card maker! The Thin Cuts do everything for you - your hardest task is your color selection! Other than that, you cut, and assemble. And truly it is as easy as that! After reading this post, if you are as in love as I have been, you will want to order them quickly as these fabulous Thin Cuts were only here for a short time and retired on October 31st. You can order your set by clicking here.
So for this artwork, I cut the layers out of Evergreen Glitter Paper and White Daisy cardstock. I assembled the cards and added a cute little banner and wa-la! I have beautiful Christmas cards!
Using the Thin Cuts for cards:
The cards were so pretty, I wanted to take them to the next level and decided to incorporate them in a layout. You can see that I used both variations of the cards and rotated them so that the horizontal one paired with a vertical photo and the vertical one paired with the horizontal one. Because these are composed of so many layers, a stronger amount of adhesive is needed to adhere them to the layout.
Incorporating the cards on a layout:
Small Bow details - this bow is beautiful! I love how intricate it is and how well it looks, and keeps the form, in a scrapbook layout. Using a piece of Thin Foam tape in between the bow part really supports the bow from flattening.
