Complete creativity in action!

So yesterday, I shared that Close To My Heart had released a new digital Cricut collection called Complete Creativity and I shared a layout that I created within Design Space using one of the collections new images.  Today, I want to share with you a layout that I created with the cartridge where I made minimal changes to the original design.

So this is the image as shown in the collection.
And this is the image when I open it up in Design Space.

And here is my finished layout - basically, I took all of the white images and changed
those to either the dark or light side of Espresso.

For those who would like to create this layout with my color changes, here is the design space file:
https://design.cricut.com/#/design/169140412.  (note you need to own Complete Creativity to utilize this file.  To purchase Complete Creativity, click here.).

For my colors, these are the Close To My Heart cardstock colors that I used:
dark brown: Espresso - dark side (X5951) (2 sheets)
light brown:  Espresso - light side (X5951) (1 sheet)
yellow: Saffron - dark side (X5961) (1 sheet)
blue:  Sapphire - dark side (X5957) (1 sheet)
dark green: New England Ivy dark side for leaves and light side for the veins (X5959) (1 sheet)
light green:  Fern dark side for leaves and light side for the veins (X5960) (1 sheet)
bases:  Mink - light side (X5947) (3 sheets) (also used for journaling mat)
You can order these shades of cardstock now in sets of 24 sheets per color or as a make your own combination of 12 or 24 sheets.  Click here to order.  I love this new option for which makes on-line classes so much easier!!!  (and stay tuned to more about my on-line class offerings!)

Additional creation notes:
1.  The coordinating exclusive ink colors were used to sponge the edges of the pieces and the tops of the butterflies.  The leaves' edges were sponged and the top of the veins were inked.  Fern (Z2850), Espresso (Z2829), New England Ivy (Z2835), Saffron (Z2851), Sapphire (Z2848).
2.  The leave tips (ends) were popped up with alternating Thin (Z2060) and Thick Foam Tape (Z1151) and some were adhered flat to show depth.
3.  The butterflies are popped up in the centers with Thick 3-d foam tape and their tips with Thin 3-d foam tape.
4.  A Bonding Memories Glue or Dual Tip Multi Bond Glue Pen (Z3441) works best to adhere veins to leaves, the filigree outlines to the butterflies and the "so thankful" outline to the bases.
5.  Accent layout with sparkles, gems, sequins or other embellishments as desired.  I used the retired Bronze Sequins.

I hope you have fun creating!  And for those who would rather have the option of a pre-cut kit, verses cutting your own, you may purchase a pre-cut kit in my In All Sassiness Designs shop.  If you are attending my BINGO open house, this will be one of your projects so need to pre-order it.
